A graduate of Greenbriar College, Linda carried her love for learning beyond the classroom, embracing life with an infectious enthusiasm. Her interests were as diverse as they were enriching-whether exploring new destinations through her travels, snorkeling in azure waters, perfecting her golf swing, or getting lost in the pages of a good book. Walking her beloved dogs brought her peace and joy, a simple pleasure that reflected her deep affinity with nature.
Linda's commitment to service and community was recognized with two presidential citations, underscoring her lifelong dedication to volunteering. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was a beacon of positivity and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. With a great sense of humor and a genuine love of people, Linda left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Klyn of Clover, SC, Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Nolte, and her nephews, Craig and Rob Watson, of Gastonia, NC. Her family and friends will forever hold her memory dear, cherishing the light she brought into their lives.
In keeping with her wishes, no formal services are planned. In honor of Linda's spirit, we invite those who knew her to remember her by living with the same generosity, humor, and zest for life that she so effortlessly embodied.
Though Linda has left this earthly realm, her legacy of love, laughter, and inspiration will continue to illuminate our paths. She will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered.
