John Nolte Obituary

John Allen Nolte, age 58, passed away peacefully with his mother by his side and into the loving arms of the Lord and his recently passed father, John Nolte Sr.

Johnny "Ernie" was born and raised in Oshkosh, WI. He attended Oshkosh North High School and after graduation began working at Bemis Tape. Over the years, he worked for numerous truck companies whether scheduling trucks, driving or performing maintenance.

In Johnny's younger years, he loved to bowl, fish, hunt, and also helped out on his neighbor's farm. Johnny will be most remembered for his love of trucks and his hard work ethic. There was never a time when he and his dad didn't talk about their truck experiences. He also enjoyed watching sports, including the Wisconsin Badgers, the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR along with the Discovery Channel.

Johnny had a soft heart and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He was the one to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. Every year, he would watch the Labor Day telethon and generously give to the event, along with other charitable organizations.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his two cats, Godzilla and Ears. Surviving him is his daughter, Mackenzie Nolte, who was his pride and joy. He was her best friend and the most supportive father one could have. Also surviving are his mother Christine Nolte, his sister Stacey (Scott) Ryback, nieces Sydney (Tristen) Jourdan and Samantha Ryback.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Kenneth and Eleanor Rasmussen, Charles and Doris Nolte along with many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman on Lake Pointe Drive on Thursday July 24 from 4-5:30pm with a service to follow after. A private internment service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Johnny's name.

John, though your time was too short we will love and miss you until we meet again.
