Raymond Francis Savio

Raymond Francis Savio, a man of quiet strength and unwavering dedication, passed away on August 24, 2025, in Myrtle Beach, SC, at the age of 84. Born on February 24, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, Raymond lived a life marked by service, hard work, and love for his family.

Throughout his years, Raymond exemplified the virtues of diligence and craftsmanship as an auto body repair technician. His commitment to precision and excellence was reflected in every project he undertook, leaving a legacy of quality and integrity that inspired all who knew him.

Raymond's sense of duty extended beyond his professional life. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy during the Vietnam Era, demonstrating courage and dedication that resonated throughout his life. Raymond also contributed selflessly as a volunteer fireman in Putnam Lake, NY, embodying the spirit of community and altruism.

A true homebody at heart, Raymond found joy in the comfort of home and family, cherishing the simple pleasures of life. His warmth and love created a sanctuary for those he held dear, fostering a sense of belonging and unconditional support.

Raymond was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Frank and Grace Savio, and his cherished wife, MaryAnne, who passed away in 2007. He is survived by his loving children, Kristine Babson (Matthew) of Ash, NC; and Frank Savio (Dorey, deceased) of Cornwallville, NY, and his treasured granddaughters, Danielle Lomas of Myrtle Beach SC and Rachel Lomas of Ash, NC; and his dear sister, Cathy Midollo of NY.

Though no services are scheduled at this time, Raymond's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the lives of those he touched with his kindness and steadfast spirit.
