Anthony S. DeFrangesco

Anthony S. DeFrangesco, 81, of Conshohocken, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025 at his home in Marshall Lee Towers. He was the beloved husband of the late Audrey J. (Smith) DeFrangesco, who he missed dearly. He was born in Bridgeport, PA on June 9, 1944 to the late John A. and Frances R. (Logan) DeFrangesco, Sr. Tony was a graduate of Upper Merion High School class of 1963. He later entered the US Army and served our country from 1965-1967 with rank of Specialist 5th class. Tony was employed in maintenance and custodial care most of his life, working at Villanova University, Philadelphia Country Club, O'Neill Steel Co., and lastly Upper Merion School District, until his retirement. He was a true animal lover, especially of his dog Oreo, and was a collector of RC cars. He was a member of St. Matthew Church, the former SS. Cosmas and Damain Church, and St. Mary's Golden Age Club.
Tony is survived by his sister Sandra Garbacz (William) of Conshohocken, one niece, three nephews and their families. In addition to his wife Audrey, he was pre-deceased by his brother John A. DeFrangesco, Jr., and his sister Loretta Seal and her husband Frank Seal.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 9:30-10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 219 Fayette St., Conshohocken. Entombment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
