Anthony DeSimone Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home - West Roxbury on Feb. 19, 2026.
Anthony L DeSimone of Norwood, formerly of West Roxbury, passed on February 15th, 2026 after a long fight with heart issues.

Beloved son of Edward (Rocky) DeSimone and Elizabeth (DeSimone) Todd and her husband John Todd. Proud father to his cherished daughter Adrianna Leeann DeSimone with her mother Kimberly DeSimone. Adored fiancée of Katrina Miller. Treasured brother of Chris and Billy DeSimone. Loving Uncle to Chase and Noah DeSimone-Harmon. He was a loving godfather and uncle.

Anthony was a graduate of The Boston Latin School (Class of 93) and attended UMass/Boston (1995-97). His love was numbers and he worked in accounting for many years. He made many lifelong friends and memories in both school and work and was well known as a "class clown". He had an ability to make anyone smile and laugh and was someone people gravitated towards.

Anthony was loved far and wide by all who knew him. A man who was known for dropping one liner's and making the entire room crack up laughing. He fought a long and hard battle with heart issues for over 20 years. He fiercely loved his family, his friends and his beloved Michigan Wolverines. He was a survivor and a fighter and all who knew him loved him. He had a way of lighting up the room that was impossible to ignore. He had extensive family and friends who were like family to him and he will be missed deeply by all who had the privilege to know him.

Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home Monday, February 23rd from 3-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, February 24th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John Chrysostom Church, West Roxbury at 10am. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you donate to the American Heart Association in honor of him.
