Anthony Dimeco Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Casper Funeral & Cremation Services on Nov. 30, 2024.
Anthony "Tony" Michael DiMeco was called home to God on November 1, 2024 at the age of 42. Born in Dorchester on October 8, 1982. He was raised in Quincy and Weymouth and attended Weymouth public schools. He was a long-time resident of the city of Boston. Tony is survived by his cherished children Kaya and Michael, his long-time partner and love Alexis Raymond, mother of his youngest child Michael. His loving mother Terry Roche, her husband Michael Richardson, his Father Aldo DiMeco of Las Vegas and sister Angelina DiMeco of Texas. He is also mourned by Grandmothers Norma Roche of Quincy and Betty DiMeco of Rockland. Tony was also loved by many special Aunties, Uncles, cousins, and many lifelong friends. Tony will be remembered for his generosity, infectious humor, everlasting faith, and his unconditional love especially for his children and family.
He was passionate about New England sports, always cheering on and supporting his favorite Boston teams. He was quick-witted and could never pass up a game of poker or chess. He loved reading books to his children and reading the Bible with his morning coffee. He enjoyed trips to the North End, bike riding, and dinners with his family. He had a deep relationship with God and kept his faith even in the darkest places.
Tony's story was one of tragedy and triumph. He most recently went back to school to become a barber, one of many dreams that he pursued. Tony enjoyed making others feel good about themselves. He touched many hearts throughout his life and on his journey of recovery. He was proud of graduating from Quincy drug court and The Gavin House of South Boston. Above all Tony was most proud of being a father to his loving children who were truly the light of his life.
Tony was predeceased 3 weeks by his beloved Papa Paul Roche. Tony was called home by his family who passed before him and is now resting in eternal peace. He will be remembered in love and deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the 529 education trusts set up for his children, or to a charity that is meaningful to you.
