Anthony A. Donato
Anthony A. Donato, 82, of Collegeville, PA passed away Monday, March 16, 2026.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 10, 1943, the son of the late Samuel and the late Caroline (Cutillo) Donato.
Anthony has been living in Collegeville, PA for over 20 years, formerly of Skippack, PA.
He graduated from St. Joseph's University.
He was the husband of Margaret (Donegan) Donato, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Together they founded and ran Donato & Associates, a recruiting business, for over 30 years.
Survivors include Wife Margaret Donato of Collegeville, Son Anthony (Karin) Donato, Jr. of Birdsboro, Son Timothy (Kristen) Donato of Wyncote, Son Christopher (Donna) Donato of Philadelphia, Daughter Lynda (Chris) Barker of Collegeville, also survived by a Sister Carol Horgan of Florida and his 12 Grandchildren Anthony Donato, III, James Donato, Patrick Donato, Sarah Donato, Michaela Donato, Grace Donato, Olivia Donato, Emma Donato, Leah Donato, Devon Donato, Scarlett Barker and Isobel Barker.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 3 sisters Dolores Donato, Patricia Schultz and Christine Donato.
His Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Visitation B.V.M. Roman Catholic Church, 196 N. Trooper Road, Norristown, PA.
Friends may call on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Anthony A. Donato, Sr. to Doctors Without Borders https://www.doctorswithoutborders.org.
