Anthony moved to Georgia at a young age and attended the Telfair County School System. He was employed at Amercord for many years. He enjoyed listening to music, fixing cars, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parent, a grandson Royrickus Clements, and a stepson Bobby Tobler.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Annie Pearl Edwards of 50 years; five stepchildren: Ricky Howell of McRae, GA, Avis Johnson of Hazlehurst, GA, Sharon Andrews of Lumber City, GA, Vicky Tobler of Jacksonville, FL, Jacquelyn (Tony) Mitchell of Douglas, GA; Eight siblings: Gloria Fletcher, Frankie (Susan) Edwards, Ricky Edwards, Kenneth (Cynthia) Edwards, Alonzo Edwards, Stanley (Angela) Edwards, Calvin (Debra) Edwards, and Roudeth Edwards. Anthony enjoyed spending time with his 21 grandchildren; In-laws: Runnell Overtree, Veronica (Elijah) Towns, and Clarence (Ola Mae) Howell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives
