Anthony Emert (Plainview) Obituary
Anthony Curtis Emert II, 47, of Floydada passed away on July 5, 2024 in Lubbock, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2024 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview, Texas. Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2024 from 6-8 PM at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.
Anthony was born on November 7, 1976 to Anthony and Vickie Emert. He loved to cook, plant plants in his garden and he loved living out on the family farm. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and had a special bond with his beloved dog Mona. He was a security guard for most of his life working for Kmart and then a bank in Lubbock.
He is preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Mason Emert.
He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Vickie Emert; four children, Logan Emert of Floydada, Anthony Emert III of Petersburg, Victoria Emert and Gaia Emert of North Carolina; two sisters, Shondra Brading Of Lake Jackson, TX and Stephanie Powell of Lubbock, TX.
