Anthony James Esposito, Jr., known to his friends as "Espo" 76 of Ocean Township died peacefully on August 7, 2023 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Long Branch he had lived in West Long Branch before moving to Ocean Township 55 years ago.
Anthony was an entrepreneur and originator in the beauty industry. He loved music, live concerts, huge doo wop and rock and roll supporter, enjoyed sports and classic movies. Anthony's ultimate pleasure in life was taking care of his family as a loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Laura Esposito. Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Esposito; his sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony J. Esposito, III, Brian and Lindsay Anne Esposito; his daughters and son-in-law, Joanne Esposito, Lisa and Mitchell Brown; and 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Olivia and Dylan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11 from 4-7 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch. Funeral Saturday with a funeral service to begin at 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by an interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joan Dancy and PALS ALS Foundation, 1 Riverview Plaza, Red Bank, NJ 07701 Web: http://joandancyandpals.org. I´m so sorry to hear about this... Mr. Esposito was a great guy. He´ll always be part of my childhood memories. I used to be friends with his son Anthony and daughter Lisa, and I grew up with the family in Ocean. Mr, Esposito was like one of the guys. He used to always give us good advice and make us laugh. He was a big football fan, and he gave us a lot of support during our varsity football season. He was a modern father who had old school family values. He´ll always be in my heart. I´d like to give my condolences to his wife Cynthia, his sons Anthony, and Brian, his daughters Lisa and Joanne. I wish I could be there with you all in person. I´d like to give you all a big hug from Italy Hope to see you all soon again some day, Alfie
