I am blessed. Blessed to have known you Fitzy. For months I've wondered what to write, how to convey what you meant to my family and I. But there are no words that can express it. I admired your love for Jenny and the boys and your commitment to living life to the full each and every day.
Your legacy will live on and our girls will know what a remarkable man, friend, father, brother, uncle you were. I held you in the highest regard and still do.
I vividly remember the last drink we had together on the 21st Jan. Just you and I at Iceworks before the rest of the team arrived. We had alot of laughs and a good chat about the "work" we did together during the floods. I'm eternally grateful that Brett organized the work lunch that day. It has been so hard. It would have been harder if I hadn't said goodbye to you that day. We talk about you everyday about all the wonderful things you did for for us that has made a Big difference in our lives and for Lauren & Chloe. You are one of a kind and we miss you every day. Always in spirit, Love James, Wendy, Lauren & Chloe

Fitzy, i am glad to say that you were like family to me. I am glad that our 2 families spent your last Christmas together. I wish we saw you again after Christmas. Dad was devastated when he got the news and i remember thinking it was the first time i had ever seen him cry. You were like my second dad and i love you. You were always caring, kind, sweet and one of my favorite people ever. Dad said you guys used to talk about sitting in rocking chairs next to each other, best friends side by side watching their grandchildren run around. Dad said that may not happen physically but you will still be there in his heart forever. I will never forget you Fitzy, all the times i had with you will always be cherished memories. I wish you were there for my 13th birthday because you knew i was excited at becoming a teenager. I wish you were there for my first day of high school because you new I was excited. I will never forget you, ever. xo

We returned home from overseas this week to be told the terrible news. While we have not seen Anthony in many years we have great memories, from the 80's in Brisbane, as well as good times in London and Sydney. We did not know his young family but are so very sorry for their loss. Brendan/Fitz, we are thinking of you and all your family old friend.

My sincere condolences to all the family, it is with great sadness that i recieved the news on Anthony's passing. My earliest and fondest memories of school life at St Lauries are in my early days with Anthony, our lives went in different directions but i enjoyed catching up with Anthony at a school reunion at Doomben a few years ago now.
I will always hold the memories of him dear as one of the most decent guys i have known.
RIP mate

My sincere condolences to the Fitzpatrick family, I worked with Anthony for a couple of years in the Department of Industrial Relations back in the early 90's. Anthony always had grand ambitions; it certainly was enjoyable to work with him. We also enjoyed an ale or two on a Friday after work at the Mary Street hotel. My deepest sympathies go out to all the family.

Anthony, I sat beside you at school and you helped me through so much, I didnt really want to be there but you made school fun. You will be remembered to me as a caring and thoughful man who always looked out for others. You always gave of yourself and were good at everything.
Of course it was you who organised our reunion last year and who else could have got long time friends back together. I am struggling with your passing for so many reasons, your love and enthusiasm for Jenny and the boys made me laugh and smile. The thought of seeing the men that shaped my whole being again growing up was a great thrill to me. Nothing will replace the void your passing has had on so many lucky people to be in your life in some way. We will miss you at this table. Rest in peace, you deserve it, Your loving friend.

For those who were blessed enough to have met such a lovely funny caring guy, dedicated father and loving husband, my thoughts are with you all. Such a tragedy. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the BEST. Thoughts are with you Jenny and family.

Our lives will never be the same, happily for having met such a wonderful person, and sadly, for now having to say goodbye so unexpectedly. Collective and deepest sorrow at both ends of the world, wishing it was enough to change fate somehow to keep him here with us.
We will miss you, Fitzy, and our hearts ache for your dear family and your many friends.
