Anthony L. Frumento Sr.

Anthony L. Frumento Sr., "Tony" "Sis" of Philadelphia, passed away at the age of 88. He was the proud owner of Ritner Hardware for over 50 years, where he became a familiar and trusted staple in the South Philadelphia community. A passionate fan of baseball, a true Phillies fanatic. He had a love for the timeless music of Frank Sinatra.
Anthony was the devoted husband of the late Anna Grace and beloved father of the late Anthony Frumento Jr. He is survived by his loving daughter-in-law, Maria Teresa Frumento. He was a cherished Pop Pop to Natalie Kronberger (Joe Blazo) and Alicia DeCristofer (Dan), and the dearest Big Pop to Bianca, Anthony, Nina, Francesca, Vincenzo, Joey and the late baby Daniella. He is also survived by his dear sister, Carol Scafidi. He was preceded in death by his siblings Rocco Frumento and Antoinette Berardi. Anthony will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous friends, and loyal customers whose lives he has touched over the years.
Visitation will be from 8:15 am to 10:15 am, on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at St. Monica's Church, 2422 South 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am, at the church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
