Anthony Shontae Garlin

Anthony Shontae Garlin affectionately known as "Nut Nut, Tony and 730eyes unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. He was born on June 4, 1987, in Concord, North Carolina to Phyllis Lynch Meaders and Harry Anthony Garlin.

Shontae graduated from Concord High School in 2006. He was currently employed at Walk on Products. He will be remembered for playing his game with numerous gamers around the state, spending time with his children and granddaughter and just being there for anyone when they needed him. Shontae met and married the love of his life Christina Santiago on July 7, 2021. He truly loved his wife through everything.

Shontae was preceded in death by his brother Delontae Garlin: grandmothers Rhoda Ann Heilig, Cora Mae Blakeney: great grandmothers, Earlene Howie, Alliene Russell and Ida Garlin.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories: wife Christina Garlin of the home; four daughters, Tatiana, Kasiah, Zoey and Laila; three sons, Joesph, Billy and AJ; one granddaughter, Jayana; mother, Phyllis Meaders of Concord, NC; one sister Shaquata Garlin of Charlotte, NC; grandfathers, Terry Heilig (Linda) of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Harry Bost (Adrienne) of Midland, NC; special friends, Rick, Jamar, Wraymel and Pierre and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Friday, January 2, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home Inc. located at 302 Broad Drive in Concord. The visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Lamb Funeral Home Inc. will be serving the family.
