Anthony H. "Amp" Glover

Mr. Anthony "Amp" H. Glover, 63, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Anthony was born in Bamberg, South Carolina and relocated to Syracuse, New York with his family during his early years. He attended Syracuse City Schools and was a proud graduate of Nottingham High School. Anthony recently retired from SUNY Upstate University Hospital, where he worked diligently as a Specialist in Environmental Services.

Amp was a kind and soul who touched countless lives throughout his journey. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and would do anything he could for those in need. Though known for his quiet spirit, Anthony could truly be the life of any gathering. His playful sense of humor, warm presence, and unique ability to connect with others made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. He was genuinely loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Amp cherished life's simple joys. He especially enjoyed boating and absolutely loved fishing in any weather, playing basketball, watching sports and waxing and buffing floors. He also found joy in landscaping, scratch-offs, and playing the New York State Lottery. Most importantly, he treasured spending time having fun with his family and friends, creating memories.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Hozel Glover and Mrs. Eartha Mae Glover.

He leaves to celebrate and cherish his memory his wife, Regina (Scharon) Glen; three beloved children, Eric Floyd, Antwanett Glover, and Shameika Glen (Isaiah Luckey), all of Syracuse, NY; nine grandchildren, Kimora Hayden, Kimyra Beirios, Kiana Glover, Kyriee Tull, Kahialil Tull, Erick Floyd, Kahyra Floyd, Ahmari Floyd, and King Floyd all of Syracuse, NY; sisters, Burnethel Glover-Grahm, Joyce Glover; brothers,Thomas (Normia) Glover, James (Jed) (Missy) Glover, Clarence (Scooter) Glover, Ronnie (Boop) Glover all of Syracuse, NY; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Anthony "Amp" Glover will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, humility, and his laughter.
