Anthony Richard Hernandez Jr. “NeeNee”,beloved father, son, and cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully on 3/20/24 at the age of 51. He is survived by his devoted mother, Yolanda Hernandez. Born on October 20, 1972, in Bakersfield, California to Anthony and Yolanda Hernandez. He attended Mount Vernon Elementary, Sierra Jr. High (where he met the mother of his children, Eva) and East Bakersfield High School. Among his many adventures he worked for the sheet metal Union. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As a father, He leaves behind a legacy of love and wisdom that will continue to live on through through his children. He cherished every moment he was able to spend with his grandchildren, imparting his values and creating cherished memories that will be remembered forever. Anthony's mother, Yolanda, was not only his parent but also his confidante and closest companion. Her love and strength were a source of comfort to him throughout his life, and her presence brought him peace. In addition to his mother, Anthony is survived by his family members, including six children: son Anthony(Melissa), daughters, Jessica (Simon), Celeste (Leo), Amanda, Alisha (James), and Alexis (Edwin), 11 grandchildren David, Anthony, Alexander, Camillo, Mandi, Lauren, Mavis, Gwyneth, Edwin Jr. ,Nathaniel, and Aleena. His siblings Ruth (Mark), Michael, Jamie and 8 nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends who were touched by his generosity and courage. Though Anthony may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the heart of all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.
