Anthony Holley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by South Carolina Cremation Society - West Columbia on Dec. 8, 2025.
Anthony E. (Tony) Holley, 64, of Gaston, SC, peacefully left this earthly life at Lexington Medical Hospital in West Columbia, SC, on November 25, 2025, aided by God's Angels Into the loving presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Tony endured a courageous battle with bone cancer. He is now at peace, healed, whole, and free from pain.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Wilma Holley, of the home; his devoted mother, Judy Gail Stovall, and the man Tony honored as daddy, Edward (Edd) Stovall, Jr., of West Union, SC. His cherished sister, Tracy Beers (Roger) of Colorado, treasured uncle, Wayne Miller (Pat) of Charleston, WV, and two loyal fur babies,

Many years ago, Tony was injured in a motorcycle accident, which resulted in permanent disability and ultimately required him to use a wheelchair. Despite this, he was undeterred from faithfully attending church and going about his business, riding his motorized wheelchair all over West Columbia and Gaston, SC.

He was preceded in death by his 16½-year-old brother, Michael Stovall; his father, Walter L. Holley of Louisiana; his grandparents, Guy and Sarah Hendershot of Simpsonville, SC; Fred and Alice Hollingsworth of Taylors, SC; Marion and Mildred Parham, Sr., Greenville, SC; Dorothy B. Holley of Texas; Bud and Beanie Stovall-Lewis of Georgia; and great-grandparents, Reece and Dora Long of Greenville, SC.

Tony will be cremated on Friday, December 5, 2025, at South Carolina Cremation Society. A memorial service in his honor will be held in two weeks-date and time to be announced.

During this difficult time, may we find comfort in the memories we cherish and the love that surrounds us.
