Roxane Sightler Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by South Carolina Cremation Society - West Columbia on Feb. 10, 2026.
Roxane DeLane Sightler, 61, of Sumter/Columbia South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 5, 2026, after a long battle with brain cancer.

Born on December 8, 1964, Roxane is the daughter of the late Fred (Chris) Thomas Critchlow and Betty (Cricket) Lou Ann Critchlow. Roxane is survived by her beautiful daughter, Breanna O'Neal Sightler, her sister, Michelle Yvonne Smith (Husband, Ted "Roy" Smith), niece, Macy LouAnn Smith, brother, Joseph Dale Critchlow and nephews, Alex Dale Critchlow and Taylor O'Brian Critchlow.

Some of Roxane's interests and experiences have included her talent for sales when cell phones became popular, Sumter County Police Department, a 911 operator and working for DHEC. Her love of Dogs and Chocolate were known by all. Roxane's biggest passion was her relationship with God. After reading the bible front to back two times, she could stand her ground in her knowledge of the Word.

We will celebrate the life of this beautiful lady, Rocky, on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 11:00 am, at McGregor Presbyterian Church, located at 6505 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Reception will follow the service.
