Beloved husband of 62 years to Margaret (nee Halpin).
Devoted father of the late Kathleen (Ernest) Bruss. Susan (Rick) Simpson, Karen (Jeff) Wallis and Peggy Jakubicek.
Proud grandpa of Megan, Melissa, Ernie, Justin, Katie, Amy and Jeffrey.
Adored great-grandpa of Evelynn, Jackson, Max, Daniel, Emma, Autumn, Julia and Vincent.
Loving son of the late Anton and Rose Jakubicek.
Cherished brother of the late Frank (late Mary) Jakubicek.
Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was the "Master Fisherman" and will always be remembered for his boisterous laugh and sense of humor.
Visitation Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 3-8 p.m.
Funeral Thursday, December 18, 2025, 8:45 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL to St. Michael Church, Mass 9:30 a.m.
Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
