Anthony Leo Kachelmeier was born January 1, 1956 to Anthony and Elaine (Sprenger) Kachelmeier in New Ulm. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Willibrord's Catholic Church in Gibbon and graduated from Gibbon High School in 1974. On March 12, 1977, Tony was united in marriage to Paula Remus at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bismarck Township. Their union was blessed with four children, all of whom were raised on the family farm. Tony dedicated his life to being a husband, father, and dairy farmer on the farm he was born and raised on. He also enjoyed going golfing, fishing, woodworking, completing jigsaw puzzles, creating model cars, and learning about history. Tony also enjoyed playing softball, broomball, couples bowling, and other sports in his younger years, as well as watching sports later in life. Many cherished memories were made at holidays, where Tony would go all out on decorating and celebrating with his family. He will be dearly missed by those that knew him. Blessed be his memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred - which will be donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
