Anthony J. "Tony" Leva

Anthony (Tony) J. Leva, 78, of Holliston, formerly of Franklin died peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 4, 2024. He was the husband of Maria (Cappuccio) Leva for the past 54 years.
Born in Quincy, March 21, 1945, the son of the late Gaetano and Jessie (Elminte) Leva, Tony grew up in Roxbury and had lived in Franklin, after marrying Maria they lived in Franklin for the next 30 years before moving to South Carolina for another 10 years before moving back to Massachusetts to be close to his family.
He was a graduate of Boston Technical High School and a graduate of Wentworth Institute with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
Tony had worked for the Western Electric Telephone Company for many years.
Tony loved being with his family and friends cooking, having BBQ's and pool parties, making pizza, and especially riding his Harley motorcycle and collecting guns.
In addition to his wife Tony is survived by his children, Anthony (Tony) Leva Jr. and his wife Susan from Lunenburg, MA, Robert (Bobby) Leva from Warren, RI, David Leva and his wife Michelle from Johnston, RI, Joseph (Joe) Leva and his wife Christiana from Milford, MA, and Michael Leva from Milford, MA.
He is also survived by his sister Josephine Venner from Lexington, South Carolina, and was the half brother of the late Debra Leva.
Tony is also survived by his sister-in-law Lena Demattia and her husband David of Charlottesville, SC.
Tony was the grandfather of 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren from South Carolina.
Tony was the uncle of his beloved nephews Kevin Miller of Michigan, Ryan Demattia of Atlanta, Georgia, and niece Ashley Demattia of Denver Colorado.
Tony is also survived by lots of loving cousins.
Calling hours will be at Ginley Funeral Home in Franklin, MA on Saturday, February 10 from 8:30 am -9:30 am followed by funeral mass at Saint Mary's Church in Franklin, MA at 10:00 am. Following the mass there will be a celebration of life meal at Tony and Maria's home at 100 Summer St, Holliston MA.
