Anthony Charles Lokash (“Tony”), age 55, passed away on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and joy. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 19th, 1970, Tony carried with him a spirit that was both strong and lighthearted—one that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tony was a deeply loving father who took great pride in his children. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Haley; his son, Nicolas; his granddaughter, Emori; and a grandson on the way. We will make sure that Emori and his grandson grow up knowing the many wonderful stories and memories of his life. He is also survived by his loving mother, Dorann; his brother, Todd; his sister, Trisha, and many nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank, and his sister, Tina, whom he carried in his heart always.

Tony attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He began his career with the YMCA as a camp counselor, where his natural ability to connect with others quickly became evident. Through years of dedication and service, he eventually became the Director of the YMCA in Waxahachie, Texas, leaving a lasting impact on the community through his leadership, compassion, and unmistakable smile. Later, he continued his work of service at Legal Hospice of Texas, offering dignity and support to others during some of life’s most difficult moments.

As a former member of the Rotary Club, Tony believed deeply in giving back and staying connected to his community. Outside of work, he found joy in cooking, fishing whenever he had the chance, and cheering on the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. He had the rare ability to never be rushed—moving through life at his own steady pace, calm and unbothered, reminding those around him that not everything needed to move so fast.

Tony will be remembered most for his infectious smile, unmistakable laugh, and his remarkable ability to make the most of life no matter the circumstances. He had a way of lightening any room he entered and bringing calm even to the busiest moments. His humor, resilience, and outlook on life were gifts he gave freely and will never be forgotten.

Though his faith was not always worn outwardly, Tony’s life reflected a deep humanity, kindness, and quiet grace that spoke louder than words. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on through the memories, laughter, and love he leaves behind.

In the words of his favorite actor, Robin Williams:“Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.”

Tony lived that kindness, and it will continue on through all who carry his memory forward.
