Anthony B. "Tony" Lucier

Anthony Barton Lucier, age 45, of Necedah, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, embraced in the arms of his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tony was born on February 13, 1980, to his mother Felicia (John) Calkins and father Barton (Linda) Lucier.

Tony met and married the love of his life, Rachel, on June 16, 2000. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three wonderful children: Trent (Breanna), Quinn, and Allison (Andrew). He was a proud and loving Papa to his cherished grandchildren, Hazel and Henry, who could make him smile no matter how he was feeling.

Tony was the kind of big brother everyone wishes for. Always showing up, always cracking a joke and always doing things on "Tony Time". His sister, Amanda (Zack) Geiger and little brother, Kyle Lucier, knew they could count on him for anything. Especially if it involved helping, fixing something, or sharing a good laugh along the way.

He was a loving nephew, uncle, and the kind of friend who didn't just walk in your life, he stayed. If Tony loved you, you knew it, and you probably have a story that still makes you smile.

Tony was truly a jack of all trades. Rachel could show him a simple idea or project, and Tony would bring it to life, often even better than imagined. He had a gift for working with his hands and his heart.

Tony loved life and shared his passion for hunting with friends and family. He especially enjoyed mentoring youth in the outdoors and passing along traditions he cared deeply about. By his side through many hunting adventures was his beloved hunting dog, Zeus. Tony also enjoyed playing pool, UTV rides, boating, and spending time with his family

and friends. He was the kind of friend you could always count on, loyal, funny, and always there when someone needed him.

Tony was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Elaine Lucier, and his maternal grandmother, Nancy Calkins.

His family would like to give a special thank you to the incredible team at Heartland Hospice. For their compassion, dedication, and the comfort they provided Tony and his family when they needed it most.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at Assembly of God Church in Necedah, WI. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church. Pastor Jim Christiansen will officiate.
