Anthony "Tony" John Mountain, age 64, of Longville, Minnesota began his journey to the spirit world on March 1st, 2026, from St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was born to Florence (LaRose) and Anton Mountain on Monday, August 14th, 1961, in Park Rapids, MN.

Tony loved to spend time in the woods picking bows with his good friend Russ. They always knew where to find Bigfoot, he has many videos and pictures. Tony loved to watch wrestling every Monday. He enjoyed spending time visiting with his friends and driving the back roads listening to his music. Tony loved his daughter and grandkids to the fullest and his dog Makoons.

Family that Tony is reunited with are his parents; Florence and Anton, granddaughter; Jessilynn, sister; Arlette, brothers; Loren, Arlen, and David, grandparents; Eva Johnson, John Mountain, and John and Nancy LaRose.

Those he leaves behind to forever cherish his memory are his daughter; Lisa (Jimmy Black II) Buckanaga, sisters; Antonette (Donald Wright, Jr.) Mountain, Valerie Jenson, and Diane Mountain, brother; Kevin Mountain, grandchildren, Alaina, Jimmy III, Tyler, Antone, and Jesse, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

An overnight wake for Tony will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6th and continue until his 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, March 7th all to be held at the Onigum Community Center with Father William "Bill" Butcher officiating. Pallbearers for Anthony will be Isaiah Troy, Dayon Troy, Jordan Troy, Arlen Bueno-Johnson, Jage Hunt, Jimmy Black II, Lucas French, and Jason French. Honorary pallbearers are all Tony's family and friends. Interment will be in the Old Agency Catholic Cemetery at Old Agency, MN immediately following his Saturday service.
