Anthony (Tony) Jesus Ontiveros, 65, died Friday, April 4th, 2025 at his Cottonwood home. Tony was born to Diego and Frances Ontiveros on April 24th, 1959 in Bellemont, AZ. He was one of 11 kids and he grew up in Cottonwood, AZ where he also chose to raise his family.
Tony was a proud local business owner of gas station/convenience stores and his strong sense of business allowed him to expand his company throughout Northern Arizona. Whether talking business or simply catching up; his favorite place to spend time was on the golf course with family and friends. Tony was a gigantic personality and all who knew him would agree. If Tony was in a room, it was never a secret. You knew it because you’d either hear him or feel his presence.
Tony was an animal lover and always had a dog or cat by his side (mostly cats). He will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor and willingness to give others a helping hand.
Tony is survived by his two children, Ryan and Elayna (Predmore) and two grandchildren, Ariel and Jasper Ontiveros. He will be missed more than you can know. We love you Tony (Dad).
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, 2025 at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood, AZ at 10:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at Clark Memorial Clubhouse in Clarkdale, AZ at 12:00 p.m.
