Anthony Eugene Peters of Fayetteville passed from this life on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski, Tennessee at the age of 69 years. A native of Keokuk, Iowa, he is the son of the late William Peters and Betty Young Levers of Florida. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Peters Jr., and one brother, Jeff Peters. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 40 Hilltop Road Fayetteville, Tennessee 37334. Anthony is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in the United States Army. He is a high school graduate and went on to receive his bachelor's degree in software engineering. His survivors include his mother, Betty Levers of Florida, children, Michael (Erin) Peters of Raleigh, North Carolina, Stephen (Becky) Peters of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, John (Jackie) Peters of Glenwood, Iowa and Diana (Jonathan) Perkins of Flintville, Tennessee. Anthony is also survived by one brother, Kenny (Sherry) Peters of California, sister, Gayle (Donald) Way of California, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
