Anthony Joseph Piekarczyk, (known as Tony, Dad, Pa-Pa, Pey, and Grandpa), passed away on October 18, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born July 22, 1949, and was raised in northeast Minneapolis. Tony was a navy veteran, as well as a 40 year employee of 3M working in research and development.
He believed in living a life of honesty, hard work, and patriotism. He was the first one to pick up a hammer, screwdriver, or shovel, to get the job done. As a proud member of "Vince's Crew", at St. Mary's church, Tony found great purpose and satisfaction while volunteering as a handyman. He enjoyed being active, often walking 20,000 steps a day.
Tony is survived by three daughters, one son in law, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, along with two brothers, a sister in law, a niece and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, a daughter, and brother.
Tony will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
His funeral is Wednesday, November 27th with Visitation at 9am and Service at 10am
