Robert Donald Piekarczyk

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Donald Piekarczyk, who left us peacefully on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, at the age of 75, at home with his loving family surrounding him.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 20th, 1949, to the late Albert and Stella (Kulig) Piekarczyk.
Robert (Bob) had a deep passion for life and an even deeper love for his family; Bob was known for his warm smile, big heart, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. A lifelong enthusiast of all things automotive, Bob found great joy in the roar of engines and the speed of the track. The Indianapolis 500 was more than a race to him-it was a tradition, a thrill, and a yearly highlight he cherished deeply.
Cars were more than a hobby-they were a part of who Bob was, he found joy in the hum of a well-tuned engine and the beauty of craftsmanship on four wheels.
But of all his joys, nothing came close to the pride and happiness he felt being "Grandpa" to Robbie and Otto. He was their biggest fan, their constant supporter, and their quiet hero. From chilly mornings at the hockey rink to sunny afternoons on the soccer field, Bob never missed a chance to cheer them on. Watching his grandsons grow, learn, and play was one of the greatest honors of his life.
Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Holly A. Piekarczyk, a son, Robert Michael (Melanie) Piekarczyk of Brunswick Hills, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Toddy of North Royalton, Ohio; 4 nieces and nephews, (Gretchen, Betsy, Sean, Mark); and his pride and joy, two grandsons, Robbie and Otto Piekarczyk, both of Brunswick Hills. A legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty, Bob's life was a masterclass in kindness and quiet strength, and he will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Calling hours will be on Monday evening, November 3rd, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. in the Carlson Funeral Home – Brunswick Chapel at 1642 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, Ohio 44212. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at the Skyview Lodge at 336 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
