Shellie Kubicki, age 68 of Georgetown, passed away on March 18, 2026. The family will have private services at a later date.
Shellie was born on July 1, 1957, and was raised in Tabor, Iowa by her parents Richard and Jackie Schroeder. Shellie attended school in Tabor, Iowa and Alliance, Nebraska. She graduated from pharmacy school from Ole Miss and worked as a pharmacist in the Texas Panhandle. Shellie married Ted in Dumas, Texas in 1986 and they made their first home in Amarillo.
Shellie was an avid sports fan and always supported any teams associated with the family. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She would attend MercyMe concerts and enjoyed the people she met through the experiences.
Shellie is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Ted of Georgetown; daughters, Amanda Aguirre, and husband Jose, Colette Taylor, and husband, Rob from Medina, Ohio, and Heather Stupecki and husband, Joe of Hinckley, Ohio; grandchildren, Thomas and Theo Aguirre, Kate, Cassandra, Stephen and Matthew Stupecki, Marissa and Jake Dzierwa, and Michael and Rebecca Stupecki; and siblings, Jason Schroeder and wife, Kim and Tim Schroeder; and many friends and family who she met throughout life who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baylor Scott and White Central Texas Foundation for the NeuroHealth Institute, 2401 South 31st Street, Temple, Texas 76508.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the love and tender care provided by Hillside Medical Lodge.
