Barbara Nell Beck

Barbara Beck of Nolanville passed away on March 16, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Barbara was born to Marshall and Madie Robertson on October 25, 1940, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Barbara graduated from Baylor University with a degree in education. She taught at Harker Heights Elementary until Clifton Park Elementary opened where she taught 4th Grade until her retirement.

On June 23, 1973, Barbara married Joel (Jerry) Beck. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Nolanville where she served as Treasurer for many years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry; brother, Marshall Robertson Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Earl Hodges; and nephew-in-law John Fooks.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Tammy Robertson of Nolanville; brother-in-law, Jeff Beck of Crystal River, Florida; nieces, Jan Robertson of Nolanville, Roberta Fooks of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Katie Beck of Homosassa, Florida; nephews, Jim Hodges and wife, Sherri of Horatio, Arkansas, Marty Hodges and wife, Joanne of Orange, Texas, and John Robert Lee of Eastman, Georgia; and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
