Anthony Harold Rapp (Tony), 69 , of Dahlgren IL was called home to our Lord January 4th 2026 in St. Peter's Missouri with family by his side.

Born September 14th 1956 to Harold S Rapp and Mary C Rapp of Belle Rive IL. Tony was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His life centered on faith, family and hard work.

He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Dahlgren IL and the Knights of Columbus Council #8745.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorrie of 45 years, married on October 4th 1980. Proud father of daughter's, Jamie Rapp, Melissa Schulz, Kathleen Banyea, and Lindsay Stranz. Father in-law to Scott Stranz, Michael Banyea, and Ken Schulz.

Tony's greatest joy was being "PaPa" to his six grandchildren. Wyatt and Kaylin Banyea, Rose Stranz and Madelyn,Violet and Cole Schulz.

Tony is survived by his eight siblings. Steve Rapp, Deanne Burke, Sanford Rapp, Cletus Rapp, Martin Rapp, MaryJo Hollensbe, Eugene Rapp and Frieda Liles. Along with many extended family members and friends.

Tony was a skilled mechanic and carpenter. Enjoyed woodworking, motorcycles, helping with farming , and traveling in his motorhome with his wife to visit his children and their family.

Known for his generosity, kindness and willingness to share his knowledge to help others.

Tony will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by many.

A Catholic Burial and Celebration of his life will be at a later date to be announced.
