Anthony P Sacco

Sadly, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Anthony (Tony) P. Sacco passed away at the age of 81. Anthony was born on January 13, 1942 to Jemma and Salvatore Sacco and raised in the Bronx, NY along with his beloved late sister, Rosemarie (Aunt RoRo). He was a 40-year resident of Harrison, NY, and most recently residing in Mahopac, NY with his son, Anthony, and family for the last 7 years of his life.
Anthony attended Evander Child's High School where he met his childhood and lifelong friends (Pat, Tunda, and Frankie) and most importantly his best friend and love of his life Diane (Murphy). Anthony and Diane married February 6, 1965. Anthony served in the United States Army from January 23, 1964, to January 22, 1970.
During his time in Harrison, Anthony had a long-standing career at ITT Continental Baking Company before retiring and starting his own courier service.
Anthony had a strong zest for life, enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Some of his best times were spent with his wife and best friends (Paula & Paul) in the Dominican Republic where they would vacation often.
Anthony is survived by his children, Patricia Day (Robert), Deborah Sacco, Anthony Sacco (Kimberly), 11 grandchildren, Johnny, Joey, Anthony (Tony), Taylor, Anthony, Justin, Tamara, Frankie, Tyler, Alexa, and Ryan, and one great granddaughter, Amelia.
A memorial service will be held at Curry & Giordano Funeral Home, Inc. 313 N James St., Peekskill, NY on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at 12:30 at Assumption Cemetery, 1055 Oregon Rd, Cortlandt, NY.
