Anthony Sanchez Obituary
October 24, 1978 - August 29, 2025
Anthony G. Sanchez, born on October 24, 1978, was called home to be with our Lord on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the age of 46.
Anthony is loved and will be greatly missed by his children, Felisha Renee Sanchez and her husband Roy Madrigal, Nathan McMichael and Anthony Rey Sanchez, Jr; mother, Josephine G. Torres; father, Leonard H. Sanchez; grandchildren, Trey, Aubrey, Kamila, Mia Madrigal and Evelyn McMichael; siblings, Leonard Sanchez and wife Jill, Lee Sanchez and wife Karen, Gregory Sanchez and wife Nicole, Joann Torres and husband Jonathan Saenz, and Eric Torres; as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
He was a skilled Airplane and Powerplant Mechanic for over 25 years, a path he was inspired to follow by his stepfather, Jeffery J. Torres. Throughout his career, he worked with Knight Aerospace and Boeing. His career sent him overseas to Dubai and Abu Dhabi where he would work on Elite airplanes. He took immense pride in his professional accomplishments, but his most prized possession was his family.
Anthony's spirit was full of love and joy, always seeking to make those around him smile or laugh. His family will cherish the love he gave for all eternity.
May he Rest in Peace.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at Castillo Funeral Home. On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Castillo Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
