Anthony Josiah Sherrod September 13, 1990 - June 1, 2025 Anthony Josiah (AJ) Sherrod, 34, of Crosby, Texas, was born on September 13, 1990, and transitioned gently from this life on June 1, 2025. AJ lived a life filled with determination, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family. A dedicated student and hard worker, AJ graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in supply chain management and logistics. Through unwavering determination and careful planning, he worked throughout his college years and achieved his dream of graduating completely debt-free-a testament to his discipline and forward-thinking nature. AJ met his beloved wife Madison in 2016, and their love blossomed from there. AJ and Madison married in 2020 and welcomed their son Avery in 2022. AJ was a devoted husband and father, embracing every moment of marriage and parenthood with enthusiasm and hands-on involvement. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, from planning date nights and vacations to late-night feedings and teaching life lessons through everyday moments. Known for his curious mind and can-do spirit, AJ was a lifelong learner who turned to YouTube for knowledge on virtually any topic. Whether he had the skills or not, he approached every repair project and challenge with optimism and determination, embodying the belief that anything could be learned and accomplished with enough effort and persistence. In his leisure time, AJ enjoyed video games, finding relaxation and connection through gaming. His interests reflected his love for problem-solving and his appreciation for both technology and entertainment. AJ is survived by his beloved wife Madison, and their cherished son Avery; his loving parents Joseph and Toni Sherrod; brother Joseph and wife, Taylor; and sister, Casey; nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Elena, Kynzleigh, Corralli; and numerous other family and friends. His memory will be treasured by all who knew him. AJ's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the example he set, and the family he cherished above all else. His spirit of perseverance, his commitment to learning, and his dedication to those he loved will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
