Anthony Steven Silletti

Bridgeport ~ Anthony "Tony" Steven Silletti, 80, went to be with our Lord Sunday, February 4, 2024 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with burial at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Melvin Castleberry to officiate. Pallbearers are Anthony Silletti, Angel Rivera, Oscar Martinez, Kenny Worlow, Mike Nelson, Brandon Silletti, Ernie Herrera, and Trevor Galvin.
Tony was born on November 2, 1943 to Fernando and Ruby Martinez in Rockford, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Lupe Martinez on August 18, 1961 in Oklahoma. Tony was a welder, a correctional officer, and did general labor at the rock crusher for many years. He was beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Ruby Martinez; 2 sons, Steven and Curtis Silletti; his brother, Leonard Silletti; his sister, Alice Coleman; and his brother-in-law, Michael Coleman.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Lupe Silletti; his son, Jeff Silletti and wife Christa of Paradise; his grandchildren, Amanda Rivera and husband Angel of Decatur, Amber Silletti of Decatur and Brandon Silletti and wife Amber of Fort Worth; his great-grandchildren, Mason and Aidan Rivera both of Decatur; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
