With profound sadness we announce the passing of Paula Silletti, a beloved and cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin and great grandmother. She passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2025 surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 81 after persevering a nine year battle with stage four lung cancer.
Born on September 17, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ to Florence and William.
Paula graduated from Henry Snyder high school, moved to California and shared over 50 beautiful years of marriage with her husband Bill Silletti. Together they built a loving home and a successful business, blending their talents to design stunning and unique pools and construction projects throughout Southern California. Paula proudly earned her contracting license and poured her creativity and dedication into every project and partnership.
Paula’s life was full of joy and connection. She loved the beach, football games, and any occasion that called for a festive outfit or themed celebration. She was a gracious hostess of holiday gatherings, dinner parties and any opportunity to serve homemade food made with love. She treasured her time playing Mahjong, Canasta, and Rummikub with her friends and family. Her passions also included gardening, antique shopping, knitting, playing with all her grandchildren and fur babies. Always adding warmth and charm to every space she touched.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday June 21,2025 at St. Francis De Sales Church, Sherman Oaks, CA. Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM followed by a reception. All who knew and loved Paula are welcome to join us in honoring her remarkable life, her generosity of spirit, and the joy she brought to so many.
She is deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
