Anthony William Slick

Anthony William Slick, 41, of New Milford died January 7th, 2023 after losing a long hard fought battle with addiction. He was born November 16th, 1981 to parents Bertha "Jo" Fisher and the late William A Slick. Anthony was predeceased by his father William Slick, grandparents Dorothy and Orin Camp, and Bernadette Slick, along with several aunts, an uncle and cousin. Anthony leaves behind his mother Jo, sister Stacy (Daniel), brother Jerome (Holly), childhood best friend Noah, Lily his loyal companion and prize possession, half siblings Cheryl, Edward, and Billy; along with several nieces and nephews. Anthony was always up for a crazy adventure; always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a jack-of-all-trades ranging from a cook to a carpenter and self taught mechanic. He loved to fix anything and everything that he thought was broken. From a young age he was fascinated in learning how things worked. He was always tearing something apart just to put it back together. His joy in life was bringing smiles and happiness to those he loved and cared about especially his girlfriend Chelsea and her beautiful girls. Anthony will forever be loved and missed by those he encountered. Our deepest regret was not being able to help him like he helped us so many times before. We've lost a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend, a loving kind soul that's left a void in our hearts that will never be filled. Services will be held at Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home in Hallstead on January 11th. Calling hours 6-8; service at 8 PM. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the funeral home to help his family accommodate funeral expenses.
