Anthony Armani "G" Smith, 23, passed away tragically December 9, 2022. He was born in Akron on February 15, 1999, loved music, and was devoted to his twin sons.
Known as Armani to his family and "G" to his friends, Armani was a loving father, brother and uncle. He had a personality that was unique and laid back which will truly be missed, especially by his siblings and those who had the pleasure of being in his life.
He is survived by his mother, DeOhna Barnes; father, Anthony Smith; sons, Giovanni and Amani; girlfriend Nikki and her son, "Fatty"; siblings, Pierre, Anastasia,Lee Adiere, Orajenee, and Trevoni; grandmothers, Rosemary and Charlotte; 11 nieces and nephews; aunt, Melanie; many other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernest Turner; great-aunt, Beverly Barnes; uncle, Harvey Barnes; cousin, Hattie Myers; and niece, Melody Barnes.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305, with Pastor Ron Shultz officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m.
