Ronald James “Jimmy” Carper, 65, passed away December 25, 2025. He was born in Akron to the late Ronald and Lois Carper.
Jimmy lived a wild and adventurous life. More than anything, he was caring and full of love. He’s at peace now and will be missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jeff Carper and Janet Helwig; niece, Amber Scott; and step-father, John Helwig. He is survived by his siblings, John (Shelly) Carper, Judy (Vince) Cox, Jerry Carper and Connie Helwig; nieces, Haley Carper, Autumn Carper, Sam “Lulu” (Jesse) Lowry, Holly Carper and Jessica Brooks; and aunt, Kathi Lamtman.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life at a date to be announced in the spring.
