Anthony "Tony" Allen Stafford, 58, passed away on September 8, 2025, at his home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
Tony was born on January 25, 1967, in Sedalia, Missouri, to Floyd and Willa Stafford, formerly of Versailles. After graduating from Morgan County R-II High School in 1985, Tony joined the United States Air Force. He honorably served in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and had the opportunity to travel the world. After nine years of military service, he transitioned to civil service and worked as a Program Analyst for the Tinker Business Office at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. Tony wrote, implemented, and managed million-dollar programs for bases in Georgia, Oklahoma, and Utah. He retired from government service in January 2025.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Stafford. He is survived by his mother, Willa Stafford of McLoud, Oklahoma; sister, Angel (Heath) Lowry of North Augusta, South Carolina; wife, Judy, of the home; daughters, Whitney (Aaron) Buckley of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Samantha Stafford of Midwest City, Oklahoma; granddaughters Lily and Addi Buckley and Payton Stafford; grandson, Samuel (Stafford) Lewis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and racing friends. His love for building and racing cars stayed with him throughout his life.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held in Versailles at a later date.
