Tony married Marcella (nee Huelsmann) Timmermann on April 21, 1956, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese and she survives in Breese. In addition to his wife, Tony is survived by his children, Jerome A. (Terri) Timmermann of Breese, Mark (Jill) Timmermann of Breese, Kathryn (Dr. Tim) Droege of St. Rose, Jean (Gary) Tebbe of St. Rose, Diane (Kenny) Thole of Breese, and Karen (Jerry) Huelsmann of St. Rose; grandchildren, Erica (Andy) Branz, Dr. Brittany (Lyle) Gilbreth, Victoria (Cody) Seelhoefer, Elizabeth (Jon) Rzepny, Samantha (Stephen) Dryer, Kate Timmermann, Grace Timmermann, Kelly (Dr. Kasey) Santel, Jessica (Joe) Scardino, Scott (Megan) Droege, Chad (Melissa) Tebbe, Cody (Karlie) Tebbe, Kyle (Amanda) Thole, Laura Jean (Jeff) Santel, Brett (Jolyn) Huelsmann, Julie (special friend, Jeff Throm) Huelsmann; step-grandchildren, Derek (Lindsey) Agin and Kelsey (James) Clark; twenty-five great-grandchildren, plus one future great-grandchild due in March 2026; five step-great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine Timmermann of Breese; sisters-in-law, Aurelia "Rite" Mourlam and Jeannette Huelsmann, both of Breese; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, August (Bud) Timmermann, Joseph B. Tony proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953. A lifelong farmer, he worked tirelessly in dairy and grain farming, leaving a legacy of hard work and dedication to the land he loved.

He was a faithful member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, where he participated in the Men's Sodality and formerly served on the parish council. Tony was also a member of the Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869, Breese American Legion Post 252 for over 70 years, Breese Lions Club, Clinton County Farm Bureau, and the Mater Dei Knight Club.

Tony found great joy in life's simple pleasures such as hunting, golfing, playing cards, and traveling. One of his proudest moments was participating in an Honor Flight, a fitting tribute to his service and patriotism. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Tony was an avid supporter of Mater Dei basketball and a devoted fan of both the St. Louis Browns and Cardinals. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and continued to share his love of farming by lending a helping hand on the farm long into his retirement.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter and Fr. Edward Schaefer concelebrating. Interment will follow at St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese.
