Anthony Matthew ‘Tony’ Krasienko, 55, of Bermuda Run, NC passed away at his home on November 22, 2025.Tony was born May 25, 1970, in Lorain, OH to the late William P. Krasienko and June (nee Allison) Krasienko. He graduated from Admiral King High School in 1988, and married Melisa (nee Garza) in 1989. They had four wonderful children together, Erica, Kristin, Mark, & Luke; they divorced in 2011. Tony was a pillar in the Lorain community, and found passion in local politics, where he became a champion for the community as a Ward Councilman beginning in 1996, and eventually served as the Mayor of Lorain from 2007-2011. In 2012, Tony married Patricia (nee Toothman); their family, along with daughter Faith, moved to Bermuda Run, NC in 2017 where he worked for Republic Services. He continued his service to local communities by serving on the Bermuda Run Planning Board. He enjoyed quality time with his children and grandchildren, traveling, hiking, and spending time in nature. He will be missed every day by his wife, Patty; his children, Erica, Kristin, Mark, Luke, and Faith; his grandchildren, Gregory, Jackson, Gemma, Lincoln, Berto, Harrison, Jonah, and Maximina; his mother, June; his siblings, Bill, Keith, Scott, and Debbie; many nieces, nephews, and family friends; as well as all those whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his father, William P. Krasienko.
