Anthony Joseph Nardini (Tony), age 85, of Sebeka, MN, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at CentraCare Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.
Tony was born on April 28, 1939, to Anthony and Lena (Arrigoni) Nardini in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Central High School in St. Paul, MN in 1957. After graduation he joined the United States Army Reserves in 1959 to 1964, serving at Fort Devons, MA, and Fort Gordon in Georgia. He was married to Midge Bohn and to this marriage four children were born. On February 14, 1992, Tony married Darlene Nevala (Lillquist) in White Bear Lake, MN.
Tony was self-employed all his life. He ran a Pepperidge Farms delivery route, he operated and owned a Mary Carter paint store. He was a realtor for Realty World and Bruggman construction until his retirement in 2000. After retirement Tony and Dolly moved to Sebeka, MN. The small town living really appealed to Tony after living in the big city most of his life. He especially enjoyed going to the events held in the small towns around Sebeka where they moved. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church as a trustee. He volunteered his time at the church with sales and events. Tony was a member of the American Legion Post #456 of Sebeka for 25 years.
Tony enjoyed traveling, threshing bees, reading, crossword puzzles, cribbage, picture puzzles, and Yahtzee. He was a man of all trades.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Darlene (Dolly) ; Three sons, Michael Nardini, David Nardini, and James Nardini; a daughter, Linda Nardini; two step daughters, Sarah Nevala and Johanna (Steve) Fowler; Four grandchildren, Desiree, Valerie, Aimee, and Ryan; five step grandchildren, Ce Ce, Clayton, Courtney, Leah, and Jackson; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria (Karl) Conrad; Sister-in-law, Janet Nardini.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Lena; brothers, Victor and Robert; grandsons, Eric Nardini and Andrew Nardini.
The celebration of life will be February 14, 2025, at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Sebeka, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Inurnment will be held in the spring of 2025. Military honors will be provided be Heartland Detachment #473.
