Anthony Vanallen Obituary
Born on April 7, 1936, in Gloversville, NY, he was the son of the late George VanAllen and Mary Christiano VanAllen
Anthony proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy, a period of his life that shaped much of his character and values. He loved spending time with family and friends, being outside hunting, fishing and riding his ATV. He is gone from our sight but will be forever in our hearts
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Beth Gomez; grandchildren, Lily, Jake, and Zach Gomez; nephew, Timothy Blanchard, and his great-nephews, Josh and Matt Blanchard,
Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main St. Johnstown, NY. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial donations in Anthony's memory may be made to St. Judes.
