Anthony Tennell Williams, Sr., 48, passed away on July 28, 2025.

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Anthony was the son of John D. Williams and the late Carmen Elizabeth Wright. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. During his military service, he was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Service Medal, NATO Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.

Following his military career, Anthony worked in the security field, including roles at Gulfstream and several local companies in the Savannah area. He was a devoted father, an avid motorcyclist, a lover of food and music, and was known by many as a kind-hearted and dependable man.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Elizabeth Wright, and his grandfather, Sylvester Wright, Sr.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Renata Doras Williams of Savannah, Georgia; his children, Anthony Tennell Williams, Jr. and Ananda Reece Williams, both of Savannah; his grandmother, Elizabeth Louise Wright of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.

The family will receive friends on Friday August 8, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Families First Funeral Care and Cremation Center, located at 1328 Dean Forest Road, Savannah, GA 31405.
