Anthony “Tony” Wayne Williams, 48, of North Pekin Illinois, died on January 10, 2026 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria Illinois. He was born on January 14, 1977 to Ronald and Eldonna (Hardin) Williams. Tony was a correctional officer, like his siblings, for Illinois at the Pontiac maximum security prison.
Tony loved fishing, hunting, canoeing, and home improvement projects using especially things he learned from his dad. He built an outside area for his cats and recently finished installing insulation and siding on his home. He also liked taking care of bonsai trees.
Tony is survived by his mother Eldonna of North Pekin; siblings Monte (Brenda) Williams of Pekin, Nashina Fisher of Pekin, James Williams of Pekin, Stormie Williams of North Pekin; son Logan (Grace) Tuioti-Landry of Tulare California; grandson Eteuati Anthony Tuioti-Landry and fiancé Shannon Gibson of North Pekin. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a memorial service in Tony’s honor on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at First Missionary Church of North Pekin at 4pm. Memorials can be made to the church. Tony has left us too soon and will be dearly missed. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com
