Antionette Lentini

Antoinette Lentini, 83, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born on October 9, 1942, in New York City to Anthony and Teresa Lentini, Antoinette grew up in Upper Manhattan alongside her parents and her brother, Michael. She attended St. Agnes Academic School for four years before continuing her education at The Assisium for Girls in Manhattan.
Known for her exceptional work ethic, Antoinette began her career at New York Life at just 19 years old and later transitioned into banking. She eventually moved to South Jersey with her family, where she worked at Reynolds Clothing Store for over ten years before joining TJ Maxx, where she remained until her retirement in 2020.
Antoinette cherished her summers in Long Branch, New Jersey, spent with her immediate family and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.
A devout Catholic throughout her life, Antoinette faithfully attended Mass on Sundays and holy days at St. Mary's of the Pines. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Antoinette is survived by her brother Michael; her son Richard and his wife Dawn; and her three beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Teresa, and Sophia, along with many cousins and friends.
A Viewing will be on Sunday, January 4th, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 pm and again on Monday from 9:30-10:15 am at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Rt. 9, Forked River, NJ 08731. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:00 am at St. Mary's of the Pines, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Burial will be at ST. Mary's Parish Cemetery in Manahawkin.
