Antionette Whitehouse Obituary

Whitehouse, Antionette
SCHENECTADY -
Antionette "Ann" M. (DiNovo) Whitehouse, 87, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Ellis Hospital, in Schenectady, after a long illness.
Born on May 15, 1938, in Albany, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late August and Rose Sgarlatta DiNovo.
Ann worked as bakery manager for the Albany Public Market, which later became Grand Union Grocery for many years, until her retirement.
Ann was a longtime member of the Westmere Volunteer Department Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed her Sundays, going to the Flea Market, where she made many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Linda Whitehouse; her sister, Camille Micozzi; and her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Joan DiNovo.
Ann is survived by her son, Michael Whitehouse; her brothers, Philip (Mary) DiNovo and August (Vicki) DiNovo; her grandson, Joseph; and several nieces and nephews.
The family extends deep gratitude to all of the doctors, nurses, caregivers, and friends of Ann, that were so supportive and caring over the past few years.
Visitation and a Memorial Mass will be announced and held in April, for more information, visit www.sbfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady, N.Y. 12304.
