Antoinette Pace July 31, 1939 – February 10, 2023
Antoinette "Toni" Pace, age 83, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, surrounded by her family at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. Antoinette Crocenzi was born July 31, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Anthony Crocenzi and the late Helen Calabria. Antoinette graduated from South Lake High School in 1957 and was named Valedictorian.
Antoinette and Vito Pace were happily married on October 21, 1961. They raised two children Jeffrey and Laura and owned and operated Vito Salon. Antoinette was also a teller at several banks and worked at school elections and voting polls. And most importantly, she found time to help the community. She was a volunteer Librarian for Kennedy Elementary for many years, and later at the Sterling Heights Public Library. She also dedicated her time to helping the less fortunate through church, as well as contributing to the summer festival annual bazaar. Antoinette also spent as much time as possible enjoying life. She loved family vacations every year with the kids and grandkids, playing a very active role in everyone's lives.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, taking long walks, exercise classes, and cooking Italian food. She was dedicated to the church and was a member of the St. Malachy's Ladies Club and a proud member of the San Marino Ladies Auxiliary. Antoinette lived the fullest life possible and had the biggest heart. Her key to life was valuing relationships and family pride over material possessions. Her modesty, love and kindness was felt by all.
Antoinette was the beloved wife of the late Vito Pace, dear mother of Jeffrey (Rebecca) Pace, and Laura (Jerome) Wahla. Antoinette was the proud grandmother of Gabrielle and Ethan Wahla. Antoinette was predeceased by her dear sister Dolores Osterman. She is survived by many loving family members and innumerable friends. God Bless.

Dear Jeffrey and Laura, I know you won´t remember me, but want to send my condolences on the passing of your mother. She was beautiful lady, who was always so kind and sweet. I always thought she and your father were an adorable couple with a wonderful sense of humor. Your mom (and dad) will surely be missed.
Love,
Rose (Montana) Hammersmith

Jeff and Laura
It saddens me that yet another family member has passed. Your parents were a treasured couple in the Italian circle. Your Mom fought a good fight and now it´s time for her to rest.
I know how hard it is for children to let go of their Mom. She was your role model and your sounding board. But she brought both of you up right so you will make it thru this difficult time. Remember to cry when you need to, laugh when you can and cherish the memories. Your Dad and grandparents are there for her assuming my Dad doesn´t get to her first.
Love and prayers to both of you and all of your family going this this difficult time.
