Anton "Tony" Binek

1958 - 2025

Anton "Tony" Binek, age 66, passed away May 8, 2025 in Columbus, MT. Tony was born on July 3, 1958 in Columbus. He married Kathy Nelson; together they had 3 children. They later divorced. Tony worked as a mechanic for the local Chevy dealership for several decades and many owners, until its closing, later working for Stillwater County and then Town Pump before retiring. Tony dedicated his life to raising his children as a single father during a time when that wasn't the norm. He spent his retirement doing what he enjoyed most; spending time with his children and grandchildren, hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking and picking at his guitars. He is survived by his children, Brent (DeAnne) Nelson of Columbus, Kennith (Bonnie) Binek of Billings, Autumn (Ryan) Baluka of Park City; brother John Binek of Billings, and grandchildren; Dylan, Braydin, Braylynn, Degen, Brennek, MacKenna, Brody, McKenley, and Louie. He is preceded in death by his parents Louie C. and Dorothy M. Binek, sister Winona (Noni) Ask. A memorial service and reception will be held Saturday, June 21st at 1pm at the USW union hall, 830 N 9th St, Columbus, MT.
