Antone Lawrence Recha

Antone L. Recha, age 76, of Rhinelander died February 21, 2013 at home under the care of hospice and with his loving family by his side. Tony was born August 4, 1936 to Antone P. and Ione (Thon) Recha in Rhinelander. He married Loretta Mankoski on January 25, 1958 in Rhinelander. Tony was employed with the City of Rhinelander – Water and Sewer department for 40 years, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, bowling, long cars rides sightseeing and trips to casino.
Tony is survived by his wife, Loretta, his sons; Mark, Jeffrey and Rockne all of Rhinelander, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister, Marie Knipfer of Tomahawk. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is proceed in death by his parents, step father, Andrew Thon and two sons; Blane and an infant son, Michael.
A memorial mass with be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 11:00am at Nativity of Our Lord ~ St. Joseph's site with Father Tom Thakadipuram officiating. Inurnment will be at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic cemetery at a later date. Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
